I know I'm late to the party, but here goes! I love WTNV.

This may be cheating, but I love The Sandstorm, parts 1 and 2. I like the episodes where we get more characterization of Night Vale residents. Hearing a show from an entirely different character in comparison to Cecil was awesome, especially when you start thinking about the differences between the two towns. Are they in the same dimension? Did the portal cross dimensions? Is Cecil or Kevin lying? Plus, the way Cecil says, "I GIVE YOU THE WEATHER," in the angriest voice is somehow hilarious to me.

I don't have any specific headcanon for Cecil, it changes with every fanart I see, though my favorite ones involve at least one extra eye.

I wonder if in Sandstorm if the "doubles" were actually just the characters from the other town. And that is why they were so violent because it seems like Desert Bluffs is some kind of Other World Nightmare zone. But, they also compete against each other in sports so...

Yeah, my head canon changes constantly because of the fanart. Every time I see a new one, I am like, Oooooh. nice.

Though, I dunno, I've seen some where he has four that are kind of neat. /-:. /-::

I always liked the "three-eyes-and-moving-tattoos" headcanon. Also it's super cute when people draw him blushing purple.

Yeah, I like that one, too. My head canon is: He's African American, with three eyes that have no iris or pupils. The third eye sometimes works independently of the other two; such as looking in a different direction and/or being closed when they're open and vice-versa. His tattoos move and his hair changes color (largely based on his mood), though he can control both his tattoos and hair color when he needs to. He's also got tentacle-y genitalia. I haven't though of him having tentacles anywhere else... Oh! And he has pointy teeth.

Oooh, I hadn't thought about his hair changing color. That's interesting.

It's funny that you mentioned point teeth...in some of my original writing I included angels, and they had shark's teeth. I could definitely picture Cecil as one of them...

I'm not even sure where I got the idea of color-changing hair, but I really like it. (-:

It's really cool! And maybe has something to do with his obsession with Carlos' hair?

Well, when I try to fit him into my personal universe he's either got to be an angel or a demon, and there isn't nearly enough winged Cecil around!

Eh, I think he just likes his hair. (-:

I'm not sure what I think he is. Not (fully) human, obviously, but... I dunno.

My headcanon is that Cecil has been romantically interested in many people in his life, some of whom may have been women and some of whom may have stretched the definition of 'people' that most of us use, but the one thing they all had in common was great hair.

I liked those episodes too! There are so many questions. Because of how Kevin and Cecil reacted to pictures of each other I'd led to suspect that they are not doubles of each other like the other citizens were experiencing. This made me then wonder if it was each other they met in the portal the second time through or their actual doubles.
