Yesterday, I went through the wrong door at a museum and set off the alarm. The staff came rushing in and I stood there like a fool and sheepishly apologized. Sorry that I am idiot, people. Now if you excuse me, I think I am going to crawl into this hole and die.

I have done the same but at an airport. I was in middle school. They acted like I was trying to murder the president.

Oh my gosh I hate when I do things like that. It is just the worst, and then I just stand there feeling like a massive lump and knowing that everyone is looking at me. Ugh. I definitely feel you.

I did this in Greece a couple times when stepping on things I shouldn't have at archaeological sites like the Akropolis. Though it was more security guards than alarms, it was still embarrassing.
