I used to have this thing where I didn't want to go to the bathroom to pee. I would hold it for as long as possible. This proved to be rather uncomfortable. To alleviate the discomfort, I would bend over and press against my abdomen, which would usually cause me to make a rather odd sound. I told my friends that this indicated that I was "thinking."

All of that is embarrassing enough, but my humiliation goes deeper.

I had a friend over to play one day, and we were playing with my tape recorder. While I was out of the room, she made a recording in a strangled whisper; I wasn't able to make it out until some time later. Part of what she recorded was, "she says she's thinking, but she's really peeing her pants." Through this, I learned that everyone knew what was really going on.

Even worse is that, eventually, the practice caught up with me in a more...physical capacity. I was playing Twister with some friends, and I had been holding my pee for some time. After one particularly leg-stretching move, I wound up peeing on the mat. It was never used again.

That's when I finally started going to the bathroom like a normal person.

Well, on the bright side, if they wanted to remain friends with you anyway, then they probably like(d) you well enough anyway.

You are so not alone. Me too. Though my moment was wrestling with a friend an her brother an I peed just a little enough for my pants to show a spot an she saw but her brother said that his hair was wet so I didn't pee myself. He was a really nice guy but I was still super embarressed. I try not to keep it in so long now but sometimes I still hold it too long and start grabbing at my stomach cus it's really hard not to.
