I know someone IRL who's like that. Not even as 'good' as the BNF you depict- just, everyone says she's so 'nice' and 'innocent' and acts like her shit doesn't stink. I saw through the facade.

Everyone was telling me I was full of shit, envious, etc. In the end? Turns out she was pursuing her 'best friend's' ex, while she was still hung up on him. Worst part? The 'best friend' was emotionally dependent on that bitch for support.

So it turns out my 'hunch' was right.

Yeah, I kinda gave up on that whole social circle. Just, ew ew all round.

What the fuck, man? That doesn't sound all the bad. Like pretty normal highschool bullshit.

It's also not actually her fault if her friend was depending on her for emotional support - she's not actually responsible for her friend's emotional equilibrium.

This ain't highschool, this is real life.

It is 'horrible' when it's your supposed BEST FRIEND'S EX. Your best friend who's crying to you daily about him.

I don't know man, it's your opinion, and I can see how someone would just roll their eyes at this. But you don't go for your best-friend's ex, at least not when the wound is so fresh. That just makes you a dick. I hope you never find yourself in that situation as I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But it's pretty fucking bad.

Being nice doesn't mean you're not human. It's an asshole thing to do, for sure (but only because you never go for your friend's currents or exes, it's a rule) but it doesn't actually negate any of her positive qualities.
