Thanks anon, I hope so too. I'm screencapping the comments here so she can see the responses. I'm hoping it will show her that she doesn't have to be afraid of naming bullies. Look how many people here have already stood up for her and called bullshit. The fandom will get behind her, I'm sure of it. It's not like I want drama to happen I just want my friend to grow a backbone and stand up to the hate mongers. I know it was a bit extreme, but this way at least I can show her concrete proof that what the bullies are doing isn't acceptable and she doesn't have to accept it.

My comment condemned an asshole. It didn't say it would support someone who calls out people to be dog piled by fandom. (I don't even care if they're in the wrong or not. Dog piling is not cool.)

it's a terrible idea op and i hope your friend realizes this screencaps or not

just be a good friend, she doesn't need to get the whole fandom behind her and shun the nonbelievers

standing up to bullies in this case only encourages them to carry the grudge deeper and deeper than if she just keeps on being cool like it sounds she is

you are coming from a place of love and wanting justice, but i've seen what happens when you start naming names and stuff :( let your friend be the bigger person, that works better

(if they're engaging in death/rape threats/doxxing or something, then, yeah, have your friend post the screencaps for everyone to see and let them speak for themselves, but if it's plain ol' "no, alice the bnf is a jerk and a faker, she just wants attention, i bet she makes up her work for charity, etc." drama, just let it fade)
