How's your Sunday been, F!S?

I think the timer on our dryer broke. ;_; It only works a bit and we are trying to figure out if it is fixable. Sadly, no one in the house knows anything about dryers.

But, my sister's birthday party is today AND Breaking Bad. So, woot!

I woke up at noon today and was so fucking tired I wafflefaced. Went back to bed and only just now got up. It's 4pm. I feel guilty, because I've been trying not to sleep this late. I'm hoping my sleeping gets better once things cool down a bit in here.

amaaaaaaaaziiiiiing to be honest, even though I've just been sitting on the couch basically all day (well, I also baked a pie).

Going to get a haircut, so I'm glad about that

It started out pretty well: made 8am Mass without incident. After that, however, not so well: came home and slept from 9:30 until noon then back down at 2:30 until 4pm.

Every thing I've done today has felt like I am walking though molasses with Atlas sitting on my shoulders! May be that my insomnia is out of whack and this is my system trying to regulate. Or I'm depressed and don't realize it. Dunno and it doesn't really matter. I'm just insanely tired.

Thank God for F!S and the possibility of fun interactions!

I stayed up way too late playing computer games and then was woken up way too early, so I spent the first hour or two in an angry haze. Since then it has been quite pleasant and boring. I've been avoiding doing work, though.

Shame on me.

busy working at a farmer's market after coming home late from a firepit. Then spent the afternoon watching Firefly and am about to go out to dinner with my parents.

I'm trying madly to finish one of my Big Bangs before I have to get a wisdom tooth removed tomorrow. I might have like 6000 words left, though, so it doesn't look good. :/

I'm lying on the couch and alternating between watching Digimon and the Aladdin tv series. I'm really tired today for some reason. I also I think I'm reverting back to child to protest turning 26 in two days.

It's been alright.I found out a guy likes me today and it definitely changed my mood for the better.

Started off great: I'm staying with my folks for a part of my holidays. We went for a (short, light) hike in the mountains in the morning/early afternoon, I spent the rest of the afternoon reading in the garden, felt like moving some more in the evening and went for a run - which turned out a bit too long but it felt good to push my limits. It felt like the perrfect day.

... And now my legs and back hurt every time I move, plus my mom just manged to really piss me off, and I'm grumpily rambling on F!S. I just want to go back to that awesome feeling from a few hours ago.

I just got back from finally seeing Pacific Rim for the first time. Yay.

Two of my best friends got married yesterday! Well they got court-house married in December for the tax break and had a ceremony yesterday. There were a lot of nerdy references, including an encouragement to cosplay (3 stormtroopers were present), and tables that were all named for nerdy locations/settings (the TARDIS, Serenity, the Enterprise, the Shire, Hyrule, etc). Very fun.

Emotionally tumultuous.

Fine. Pretty good day actually. Except that I found that one of the size two pants I bought is not a size two. It is the same design, maker, shape, everything as the other size two I bought with it. It is labeled as a size two.

But it is not a size two. Because I put it on and it's like wearing a bag.

Even weirder? Putting them on top of each other makes them look like they should be the same size. The bag one is a tad longer in the leg but that's it. At least, that's what it looks like. But looks are so deceiving!

I hate women's clothing.

So I returned it and got another completely different pair that makes me look fantastic. So whatever.

(Also, before anyone goes, "OMG UR TINY!!111!" I also have pants that are size 7 and 13. Again. I hate women's clothing.)

Pretty good overall but I just read up on a rather cringeworthy aspect of 1980's German politics were apparently a bunch of politicans and parts of different parties thought it would be cool to allow sex between children and adults as long as it's consentual and no violence is involved. And apparently for a while the LGBT-movement (or part of it though from my limited research it seemed to be the popular opinion for a bit D:) thought it would be a brilliant idea to side with the pedophiles on that one and also the feminist that jumped into the debate (as far as I just read) ignored the fact that women can be pedophiles as well.

All in all something I don't even want to touch with a 10-foot pole ever again...

Actually participated in tumblr wank and it was the most fun I had all day (like someone up thread, I was having a molasses day)

I've been so bored today, I thought maybe I'd try to get a few little things done today but it didn't happen. :(

I fried up some honey-soaked sweet potato chips with sea salt. Hurts soooooo good.

I bought new walking shoes and socks from a very helpful gentleman. They are very comfortable and I'm looking forward to the prospect of not having new blisters every time I walk.

Meh. My GF and I were supposed to go to the Ren Faire with my mom and sister. My dad, however, being a fucking hypochondriac, decided that because there were thunderstorm warnings in the area, that we would get struck by lightning or some BS. I can't make this shit up. Dad got my sister in on it, and Mom decided it was not worth arguing with the both of them, even though it is something she's been looking forward to for months.

Unfortunately, we can't just reschedule and go next weekend because Mom and sister are flying back east to visit family for three weeks. GF and I will go next weekend, just because we were upset enough that it would have really affected our enjoyment.
