Yep, this. The geeky cosplay aspect of the photo is neither here nor there. The point is that when your girlfriend makes the effort to send you a sexy photo in response to your request, the only decent boyfriend response is some variation on thank you/I love you/OMG YOU'RE SO HOT, etc. etc.

What the boyfriend said indicates that not only is he an insensitive dick, he's an ungrateful one, too. OP made the right decision in jettisoning that asshat.
