It's a damn good wig, I'll give it that. But...shit. I mean, it's not like she doesn't have a full head of luscious (yes, LUSCIOUS) hair in real life. Surely they could have worked with what they had.

How does that have anything to do with liking the character? I'm not trying to sound sardonic, I'm honestly enquiring.

It's probably one of those, "I love this character, so I will defend her against any and all criticism and find joy in all aspects of her" things.

I always thought her hair was amazing. I still do. ...And yes, I know it's a wig, but that doesn't make any difference. Troi rocks, you guys.

It's soooooo incredibly '80s, but omg yes her hair is GLORIOUSNESS. I take special attention to take note of its varying levels of epicness each episode :D

(also, it looks a bit like mine, if mine was about 3X more fierce, so I'm biased...)

If you hair is a fraction of her hair then you still have great hair.

I love her hair too, and I don't even care that it's a wig. It's fluffy and pretty and that's good enough for me.

It's lovely hair. Actually she's lovely in general, but yes, the hair is nice.

Troi's hair was awesome, are you kidding? Next you'll tell me people didn't like Riker's beard. I went through a stage where I did everything I could to make my hair that shiny and curly. I actually feel a bit better that it's a wig. At least it gives me a good excuse for never being able to mimic it properly.

I adore Deanna. I always did, but I've come to appreciate her even more on rewatches. I wish she and Beverly had had more scenes just hanging out together.

Her hair was fab. Way better wig than the dodgy ones Gates McFadden was stuck with at various points in the series.
