I think someone needs to learn the difference between genocide and collateral damage.

Genocide is intentionally bombing the shit out of the geth.

Collateral damage is making a call during wartime that results in their deaths.

If you choose destroy, I'm going to go ahead and assume you're not choosing it to kill all geth. You're choosing it to destroy the Reapers. A lot of other people died in the course of that final battle -- should Shepard be accused of personally murdering them too?
