Well Muslims have Richard Dawkins too. He does say they are the greatest force of evil in the world today.

Yeesh, I forgot about that. But I expect that the overt racism that a lot of Muslims are facing is more worrisome than the supposed persecution Christianity suffers from the New Atheists.

I was never much involved in atheism beyond acknowledging that I don't believe in any gods, but the NA movement makes me wonder whether they're all idiots, or if it's just the loudest and wankiest of the lot that are of interest to the press.

It's the latter. You can tell because the loudest and wankiest of ANY group are of the most interest to the press in almost every case.
