No, perhaps not -- but I wasn't all that serious either (guess I should've made that clearer). Anyway, people often say Treasure Planet wasn't very good, and I personally loved it.

I don't actually mind characters singing - but I also really love musicals so that might be why. I just thought the music was well written, and very pretty [...and very inspiring. /shame face]

I don't hate it when character burst into song or anything, I just... I dunno, it somehow just feels more realistic and serious to me?

And hey, nothing to be ashamed of! I definitely get why you'd find some of those songs to be inspiring -- I identified a lot with Jim when I first watched the movie, so I even agree.

Treasure Planet is one of my favourite Disney movies ever. Also Atlantis, actually.

I didn't like the Princess and the Frog much at all. The characters were fine, it was just boring.

Treasure Planet is honestly one of the few Disney movies I really, really like. I wish it didn't get the hate it does, because it's fantastic.

Yeah, I really don't get why it gets so much hate -- pretty much every aspect of it is great, IMHO. But it's good to hear I'm not alone in loving it!
