simple way to prove that freddy won - let's say freddy lost, well, then there'd be another jason movie chronicling his murders. there isn't. therefore freddy killed him in his dreams (he was close to doing it anyway when the bitch got the fuck in the way). thus there could be no jason movie but there was another freddy movie after fvj. so freddy wins. sorry bro. better luck next time.

The next Freddy movie was a reboot, FvJ was the last movie to feature the Englund incarnation of the character.

And chronologically speaking, Jason's last movie is Jason X which takes place in the distant future.
