It's coming back? Cool!

I started with the British version and probably saw more of that (because it was on Comedy Central all the time) than the later one with Drew, so him not being there doesn't bug me.

It came back in July. :) I like it, except the whole "Bring on guest stars from popular shows" bit throws me off. The kid from Glee was okay, but Candice Accola and Lauren Cohan were sort of iffy.

They did that occasionally when Drew was host, but now it's every episode, and... just... please stop.

Same. I pretty much grew up on the British version so it doesn't matter to me if Drew is there. The host has little effect on how funny the episodes are anyway, it's usually dependent on who is performing.

The thing with Drew is that he'd usually end up performing for one of the games - so he did have an effect on it as a performer too. Plus he was friends with at least one of them since before the show started, and that lent a lot to the banter between the two.

I didn't really think Drew was great in skits though. I did appreciate his banter, but the British host had great banter as well.

I haven't looked anything up about the show's return, but really unless the host is downright awful I don't see it affecting the show much. As long as the performers are good, it'll be good.
