Mature people who act childish because they think it's cute. You are 50 years old lady please stop twirling your hair and acting coy and giggling like a small girl and using baby words at everyone! You aren't cute! You are creepy! (It also hurts my ears when you speak at an octave higher than your voice should be.)

... I know way too many people like this, too, and all of them are over 50 years old. Probably a lot to do with the whole Asian cute-culture thing but I can't stand it waaaauugh stop

I had a friend like this.

In addition to being cute, she was also incredibly passive aggressive and controlling. So it was like biting into the centre of a sweet, only to find it's sour inside.

She is no longer my friend.

Oh god, the one-octave-higher thing is even worse when it's you that's doing it. My phone voice is like that (no idea why), and it makes this godawful buzzing noise inside your head.

My coworker is 48 and she acts 12. To be fair she IS Asian, but she doesn't act young in the 'Asian cute-culture' sort of way. She's just... kind of dumb, and she acts like this 90% of the time.. and it's annoying. People are always surprised that she has 20 years on me.

I have never seen older people do this, only my age bracket and below. I can imagine it is unsettling.
