No, I totally know what you mean, OP! I watched a bit of one of these shows and I just couldn't help thinking, "Wow, the graphic, the writing, the plot...this is SO GOOD. I'd have been in love with this show when I was ten!"

I wish it had been there for me then. I seriously needed some pro-girl, sweet, lighthearted stuff to get into and make me feel better about my gender and think "girls can have adventures, too!"

It makes me feel hopeful for girls today that they have something so beautiful and good to like. :)
