Yeah, beat that dead horse to death, people.

It's ridiculous that the only way to have a discussion about Snape today - as it seems to me (LJ is atrophied, Tumblr isanine) - is on Fandomsecrets.

What I mean is - in what universe is suddenly an interpretation of a book character a secret and discussion thereof a secret? If you can't sign your made up internet name, maybe you should get over yourself.

I don't begrudge anyone the right to go anon if they want to talk about controversial fandom stuff, but lately there have been at least 3 Snape-related secrets that are just lame in terms "secretiveness."

Obviously just designed to get a conversation goind and I mean - can't you just do that in a comm or something? Liven up the fandom a little instead of taking it straight to the meta-fandom? I'm a big fan of HP and Snape and it's a pity that all he's been reduced to on Tumblr is aww, what a tragic hero. Plus all the LJ comms are dead, etc.

Which is why nobody thinks they can talk about it outside of tumblr. I'd love to post Harry Potter thoughts somewhere, but there really isn't anywhere left. Which sucks because I'm still a fan too.

You can absolutely post them on Tumblr I think. Tag them with all the characters and things like HP meta and someone will read it, I know I search it sometimes and read the HP tags.
