ginainthekingsroad: 3 separate yet equally important groups- the police, the DA, and the goddamn Batman (Law & Order Gotham)

Yeah, I have to agree with the anon who said Morpheus' treatment of Nada is consistently shown as a Very Bad Thing. Morpheus is a petty, temperamental, and often hypocritical asshole. He needs to have more grounded characters like Matthew, Death, Lucian, and Hob around to call him out on it. And he ultimately has to die to become someone more understanding and merciful.

As for Calliope, their ugly breakup long ago is in no way a direct cause of her imprisonment and rape in the modern era. The issue "Calliope" makes a lot of parallels between her and Morpheus- particularly their imprisonments and their pride- and I think the person Calliope is at the end of her ordeal is much more like Daniel-Dream than Morpheus-Dream. She just reaches that place first.
