Personally, I'm far more interested in seeing Dean happy. Those few moments last season when he was hanging out with Benny before things went FUBAR (thanks, Sam), when he was all gung-ho about his purpose in life, when he was standing up for himself, when he seemed to be enjoying things again, that was the most I've enjoyed this show in years. Plus, happy Dean is still all fucked up, so it's still fascinating. Happy Sam is like 'lookit me with my dog and my seriously unpleasant girlfriend and my spaghetti and shit!'. The only good thing about happy Sam was his wardrobe, lots of nice form fitting shirts when he was being domestic. Happy Sam is boring as shit, sorry. Sitting through his flashbacks was excruciating.

Happy Sam is boring as shit

I just realized I have no actual memory of any of Happy!Sam's flashbacks. I only know they existed because you reminded me but I can't think of a single thing that happened besides girl and dog.
