YOU ARE THE REASON DEVELOPERS ARE FORCED TO DUMB DOWN GAMES FOR THE MASSES!


No, if you feel like playing the easy mode, do it. You can still be part of the fandom. It's no one's business that you don't get all the achievements on nightmare mode if you're just playing to enjoy the story. :) Seriously, some gamers need to chill.

I just wish certain devs would be brave enough to make the other modes actually hard, and not feel like they need, in addition to offering a casual mode, to make the harder modes more accessible to make casual players feel accomplished. What's the use of the casual mode then? (offenders include DA2)

Yeah, that does bug me sometimes. I mean...I even played on easy with DA:O (I still blame the crappy controls on the console port for that one, though), but...I'm all for making things accessible to everyone, just give people that genuinely enjoy the challenge something fun to play, too?
