I think you can like a character without wanting to hang out with them in person if they were real. I think the internalized misogyny is one of the more interesting things about her and I appreciate that there are a variety of female characters that all have different effects and reactions to the crapsack patriarchy they live in.

I don't know if I've seen someone thinking she's going to start a suffragette movement in Westeros or anything? I can only assume that if someone said she was feminist they'd be referring to allowing her be as vicious and play the game as the male characters do (with different results, because as said above: crapsack patriarchy).

well, also because she is not particularly competent at playing the game of thrones. like, i really don't think you can attribute all the insane or foolish stuff that Cersei does to crapsack patriarchy.

I don't think anyone's particularly competent at playing the game, tbh (at least none of the major "notable" players not the ones behind the scenes) and Cersei has a major disadvantage that none of the male characters do which colors pretty much all her behavior. The Wildfire idea was a product of Cersei and Tyrion, but only Tyrion got the credit, etc, etc. Like even when she has a good idea it gets taken from her control.
