that's ok. if i'm playing a game for the first time and i am unfamiliar with the developer or franchise, i might start out on easy. i usually go with normal and then play on easy or hard in other playthroughs, but it just depends. i have just as much fun playing on easier difficulties as i do on harder ones. if i'm playing/replaying for the story, easier difficulties make it a lot more fun. if i want a challenge, i'll go with something harder. the former is more for when you want to relax or just goof off, or if you're not very good at the type of game you're playing, and both of those are perfectly fine.
