It depends on the game for me, most of the time I play them on normal mode but if it's a shooter I play them on easy because my god I suck at shooters(but I really love some of them like Mass Effect and Dead Space).

Some people enjoy the challenge that the hardest setting gives but I'm not one of those people, I want a bit of a challenge but I also want to enjoy myself while playing(and smashing my face against the same boss for hours is not my kind of fun). Play how you want OP.
