That bastard thing has even spread to the bastion of user-non interactive design FF.net. I never thought I'd have to deal with cameo tag syndrome on The Pit, but there latest "upgrade" has enabled it. The two lead characters field was fine for 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of all fics, now it is the same. Mentioned and they go in one of the new characters fields. Makes their actual improvement of being able to exclude fics with a certain character functionally useless. AO3 is killing fanfic faster than tumblr is.
