I thought it was realistic for the setting and the rape was never fetishisized. It, along with many other things, showed how deplorable the conditions of their world were and that many people with power were corrupted by it and used it to harm and take advantage of innocent people. It wasn't really all that untrue to real life

I felt the same. Like, the bad things that happened to elves truly felt abominable and shameful. People die and it's sad and unfair, but that's life. I also apparently I do not read between the lines so much, because I didn't catch some of those implied rapes (though fair enough, I didn't play Liliana's DLC). Honestly the only one I truly perceived as a (sexual) abuse victim was Fenris.

But yeah, I do not see that portrayal as a "disgusting male power fantasy".
