OP, nah, maybe I phrased it wrongly.

But realistically, you can just go trough all the discussion of what you'd do if you'd fall pregnant and stuff, but in the end it's your body, not his. It's not a lack of caring, it's just a difference in biology.

You're the one who's have to have the abortion, or the pregnancy, not him (regardless of what you do to a couple). I also personally find it hard to convey that even though I don't want a kid, I'd still emotionally have a problem with being labeled an infertile woman at a young age. I think it's sort of different for men because their fertility is, in theory, unlimited.

Honestly my mom's reaction upset me more (we're usually very close) but now I'm worried she might guilt-trip me over an abortion if I ever needed one.
