I don't ever really let go of fandoms... I mean, after a honeymoon period, I may not hyperfocus on them any more but I always keep my bookmarks. And I'll usually go back periodically through my fandoms and search for new material.

You know what the absolute best thing is? Sometimes I go back and I find some aspect (be it a pairing or trope, etc) that I didn't notice or appreciate my first time 'through' that fandom and then I get to fall in love all over again.
