Yeah, and I tend to fandom anime too, so it's like geekdom x2. I don't think I need much saving grace. ^^;; I mean, my grades are decent and so are my SAT scores... With Ivy League, it's pretty much showing them why you're unique and should be there instead of the other 5000 people who applied. So even if it makes me unique, I'm not sure I'd risk taking that kind of chance.

You're talking to someone who attends the University of Pennsylvania, just so you know~ 8D; I know exactly what it takes to get into Ivy League. I'm here, after all.

And it is a HUGE risk. But I'm just saying, if you've got the time (which you very well might not, which would be understandable) try writing up a fandom essay anyway! if it's something your teachers, parents, counselor, and YOU like, it could be worth it to send it in. but if not, go the traditional route. you never know!
