Old people say racist offensive things. That's a fact of life. So long as they say it but don't do anything about it, I say live and let yourself ignore what they say completely. It is not my place to tell someone four times my age (at least) how they should think or express themselves. It's kind of late to be changing someone's mind when they're in their 80s.

If you wanted to change his eighty year old opinions, you are too late. Phil the Greek is in his 90s. And we're laughing at him, not with him when he goes into his antics.
