Meh, it's no different than the old lady who walked up to the guy playing the FBI agent on the Sopranos and told him to leave Tony Soprano alone (yes, this actually happened). Walt's the lead protagonist, the antihero, Skyler is the moral foil. Even if she's the "better" person it's still possible to root for Walt over her without being a mouthbreathing neckbeard.
