If you are inspired by a sexist ableist shit, then you are being inspired to be a terrible person.

Well, gosh, I think I should burn all my DVDs, because pretty much most people us fans put on a pedestal are pretty problematic. With some inspirational, good stuff too. Most people have sexist and so forth traits, this doesn't make them unredeemable monsters. It's whether it's so overwhelming that the inspirational creative stuff is drowned. Polanski? Ick, no. Palmer? Pretty damn mild in the scheme of things, it's just that she promotes herself as being better than that, so that her faults are played up so much more by those disappointed in her. But compared to most people that fans less controversially claim inspiration from, she really ain't that bad, shiiiit.

What matters is what WE become.
