oh, that's by them too? I admit, I only got into it because I stumbled into the most recent page and thought the character there (the fox in human form) was actually pretty good-looking, and the art style was neat enough, so I started reading backwards, thought "eh, it's okay, it's nice to look at, so what's going on?" and then went to the beginning to read properly

it's... okay, I guess? I kinda want to know what happens next, but it's more like a "okay, let's check back on a few months to see if answers are given or anything" than a "let's check as it updates omfg yes" kind of interest

so, uh, yeah, they're totally updating the less widely-appealing comic, I guess

Yeah, they are. Which is their choice, but it's annoying that they set a schedule [that supposedly takes into account the time to do pages for both comics], and can't seem to be bothered to say 'Hey, turns out we don't have as much time as we thought/here's what's going on'.

But, then again, I admit I'm the person who - if someone [including myself] says their going to do something, they should do it or at least let the other people know 'Hey, here's what happened...'

The comics only have the artist in common, the writers are different. And Sfeer Theory was a personal project while Fox Sister was a profesional one, iirc

Ha Ha, I know the feel. I think Fox Sister is only sorta okay, but I admit I am sticking by it because it takes place in South Korea. It's just rare to see my nationality represented anywhere, so I guess I'm reading it out of principle? XD

I was delightfully surprised that they chose a non-Japanese Asian culture for once as a setting, and not just for the sake of being exotic -- it just flows so naturally, how they introduce the reader to it

honestly, I really like the characters and their interactions and how their different cultural experiences influence those interactions, but I need more plot-hooks than just "this demon fox spirit took on the form of this girl's sister after murdering her and other people, is now fooling everyone, and now wants to kill the last loose thread" to really really get engaged, especially when combined with the relatively sedate pacing (which is not a deal-breaker by itself, but, yeah...)
