Ugh, music elitism. You are not better or more interesting or more open-minded just for listening to non-English music. You just have different taste in music than other people you know. I'm sorry if your friends don't like your faves - I totally get how frustrating it is to love something and fail to get other people to love it too - but people are drawn to music for different reasons, and if what people like best about music is the lyrics, then it doesn't make them dullards if they prefer to listen to music that has lyrics in whatever language they understand.

PS - I gave the song in your secret a chance, but I didn't like it, sorry! I like Finnish, but the genre wasn't my cup of tea. Perhaps that's another factor for people you know, beyond just language?
