But there are characters who are presented as 'female' in the franchise and they get overlooked a lot--mostly it's because there are more 'male' characters, but still. Even if it's just gen, any attention would be appreciated, at least in my books.

Hence why a franchise with robots has slash, femslash, and het. Logic has little to do with it, so it seems.
