I feel you OP, I can't also concentrate on audiobooks or podcasts because I always end up doing something else and getting too distracted with that something else that I can't pay attention to what I'm listening too.

Especially since English is not my first language and so it gets really hard to concentrate on it despite not having any problem with focusing on English when I'm watching TV shows with no subtitles.

But I love Welcome To Night Vale, and the fandom, and everything, it's just that I proceed very slowly with it.

I've found a way to get through them though, but I'm not sure if it will work for you. I play minesweeper on my phone. It's something I do almost all the time when I'm bored and so it doesn't take a lot of concentration for me despite the nature of the game, so I'm occupied and therefore I won't end up dozing off as I'm listening to it but not too occupied that I end up getting too invested on the game and not enough on the podcast (like, who the hell can get too invested on a minesweeper game?).

That's a great idea! I might try it with spider solitaire since I'm terrible at minesweeper.
