You mean the Gamecube 3.0?

But yeah, I kind of hope the same thing. I think Nintendo should stick to developing their handheld consoles and ditch home consoles all together. I bought a Wii and after a while it just became a brick that collected dust in my living room. The Wii U is just a fancier Wii, and I have no desire to own one.

Not to mention that I am tired of the same franchises getting beaten into the ground every time a new Nintendo console comes out. It's always another Mario, another Zelda, another Super Smash Brothers, etc, etc. Same shit, different console. I know that there's still a bunch of rabid Nintendo fans out there who are keeping them afloat, but can we have something NEW for a change?

There's new stuff... if you like niche titles. People have mentioned the FEXSMT crossover already, assuming whoever buys up Atlus decides to keep the deal going (please, game gods, not Sega), and then there's X. I saw as many people shrieking 'WELTALL' on comments as I saw Xenoblade 2 comments, so there does seem to be a base.

Still, I agree overall. It's not like they're doing a great job on releases for the franchises, either. They couldn't even try and aim for an end-of-year release on product like SSB? That would've pushed a lot of consoles.
