That breaks my heart. I love Nintendo... but I don't have a WiiU yet. :(

I only want it for the first-party titles anyway. Life without Mario is not worth living.

I think they should have waited until they had more games out for the Wii U to release it. This is my only beef with nintendo really (well not only beef, but biggest one), I can't judge a system until I have some fucking games to play.

The 3DS is amazing though and I'm starting to think I may not even buy consoles anymore and just play handhelds.

I've noticed that whenever Nintendo releases a new console. It's like...okay, this sounds like it could be cool, but there's so few games/no games that I give a crap about that I have no incentive to try it. Then by the time I find enough games that justify me buying the new console, they're on to the next generation and then I have to weigh whether or not it's worth buying the 'old' one at that point...

I wish I could use the 3DS, there's so many awesome games for it and all my friends love it (also the new pokemon looks sweet~). But there's just something with the screens that gives me migraines if I play it for even a few minutes, even if I have the 3D turned off. Woe is me.

Yeah, they definitely should have held off on releasing it until this year, at least. They still would have been first out the gate and the lineup would have looked a lot better.

I just want games I can see myself owning for years. (I rarely trade in my games, unless I dislike them that much.) The Wind Waker HD looks nice it does, but that glare coming off everything hurts to stare at after a while.

Surprise though, I own that game already. I never cared for Sonic and I couldn't even muster the energy to show interest in The Wonderful 101. Pikmin 3 is a maybe, but I've never played any other in the series before that. The Wii U can't exactly do worse then the Xbox One, can it?

BTW that Xbox One info is out of date. They've adjusted many of their policies due to the internet mob that formed after the reveal.

So yes, I think the Wii U can do worse than the Xbox One.

I want one for SMTxFE and Bayonetta 2. I hope more games come out that I actually want for it, 'cause two is kinda sad and neither of them are out yet.

I love my 3DS and am a Nintento fan, but the lack of titles for the WiiU makes me sad.

It's like the WiiU is lounging on a desert island while the Xbox One and PS4 do a high speed racing. The WiiU is a generation behind.

I still really want one for Zelda, Fire Emblem, Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, and Tales of games that come out. But who know when the last three will happen.

I hope they start learning from their mistakes soon, or the next gen might be the last :(

But yeah, I kind of hope the same thing. I think Nintendo should stick to developing their handheld consoles and ditch home consoles all together. I bought a Wii and after a while it just became a brick that collected dust in my living room. The Wii U is just a fancier Wii, and I have no desire to own one.

Not to mention that I am tired of the same franchises getting beaten into the ground every time a new Nintendo console comes out. It's always another Mario, another Zelda, another Super Smash Brothers, etc, etc. Same shit, different console. I know that there's still a bunch of rabid Nintendo fans out there who are keeping them afloat, but can we have something NEW for a change?

Eh, Nintendo kind of lost me when Miyamoto said there probably wouldn't ever be another F-Zero title since they can't come up with anything for it, which imho is lousy reasoning. (Guess he never thought of online play?). They can shit out the same formula for Mario games, but somehow, they get cold feet at F-Zero. Okay then.

That said, my Bro owns a Wii U and... there's really nothing that remarkable about it. Plus, first party titles are usually what carries a Nintendo system and I honestly don't see anything worth getting hyped over at this point. Maybe the new Super Smash Bros game, but I'm being generous.

Nintendo don't care because Microsoft and Sony won't be seen as real "competition" for probably at least another 10 years.

I'm particularly sad I'm not excited to get a WiiU anytime soon. I am a major Nintendo fan and it's something that will eventually be in my collection, but I'm not in a huge rush and it's really the first Nintendo console that made me feel that way.

The 3DS on the other hand is simply awesome.

Voice of dissent, but I'm loving the Wii U. Don't have a huge amount of games right now (they're ungodly expensive in my country, so I only get the ones I REALLY want), but Scribblenauts is way too much fun, and I spent more time on Miiverse than I probably should. Got a preorder for Wind Waker HD, and I'm basically glued to every bit of Smash Bros info I can find. There's also possibly going to be a Pokemon game on it which looks intruiging!

But yeah, they can take a while to get up to speed. I really do hope that the Wii U does fabulously well, though! (Same with the 3DS. I love my 3DS.)

I like my wii, but aside from some new games I don't care about the WiiU doesn't seem to be bringing anything to the board that I like to warrant buying it...also the gamepad bit is a turn off. I've got a 3ds, wii is for waving my arms around not doing a similar motion to all the otherconsoles while staring at a screeen. Just urgh.

I did for out recently for a 2nd hand 3ds though, but only because I'm really excited for pokemon (and a couple of other sequels for games i like)

I have a Wii, and I'm so pissed cos I don't want a Wii U but Lego Marvel is only coming out on Wii U.

I'm tossing up just buying a different console if I'm going to have to spend so much money just to play one game, but I like the Wii controls - I'm bad with traditional controllers.

Which again is why I don't want a Wii U grrrr. I don't want a tablet.

Don't worry! The WiiU will be terrible since third party devs don't want to develop for a console where they can't just straight-across port from the Xbox 360 (or I guess it's the PS4 now).
