I had a hard time getting into it for the same reason but it sounded so interesting to me that I kept trying. At first I tried it while laying in bed for the night, but I'm on medication that makes me really tired after taking it so it didn't really work out. I found putting it on while I'm in the shower or bath is perfect for me. I could focus on it almost completely while still having another task to do and not let my mind wander.

I'm really glad that I got into it though, I really love it and even named my pet ferret Cecil. I just wish the fandom was a little better. Maybe its just the parts I'm around, but most of the fandom seems to focus around Cecil/Carlos which is the least interesting part of the show imho.
