I don't mind crossovers, I don't mind fusions. I just want people to actually think them through and make them work.

Also, I believe piling more than two fandoms in any given crossover/fusion is going to make it more likely that it won't work. I'm not saying that it will fail, but a lot more work needs to be done to make it work.

I've seen one fic that had several police/FBI/other agencies shows turning up it it. It worked because one, the author worked hard to set the characters up, and two, they're all non-fantasy/sci-fi shows so there's no conflicting mechanics (the cross did have one fantasy show involved, but it was the only one, so none of the others conflicted).

My biggest gripe is, as always, conflicting mechanics.
