All based on classic literature (or what was contemporary SF of the time, that has now become classic). And that's just what I can recall off the top of my head.

TL;DR gotta go re-watch ALL the Twilight Zone 1980s brb

I was referring to the one in the 2000s that was hosted by Forrest Whittaker. (To be fair, I only watched two episodes, but I didn't have much reason to hope that it would improve.)

AYRT

oops

I must have missed that one, but I was cable-free around that time. Still, the 1980s TZ is every bit as awesomesauce as the original, OP!

Okay, good clarification.

Let's agree that the 2000s adaptation was pretty awful, but the 1980s version was uneven, but is nonetheless an underappreciated gem.

We all cool now?

THIS. The 80's one was great except for a small number of sequences. Unfortunately only some eps are available on DVD.

is one of the links to the Paladin of the Lost Hour [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paladin_of_the_Lost_Hour]? Because Danny Kaye was wonderful in that episode :D [s1 of the '85 revival]

it's one of my favorites of that particular series
