I have trouble getting into OT3s (or more) too. I think it's because I tend to heavily prefer some of the dynamics within the group over others and it feels uneven.

This is my biggest thing with Haven. I can pair off any combination of Duke, Nathan, and Audrey and love the result, but I can't get behind the fandom love for the OT3 because it feels like someone's always going to get pushed aside in some significant way.

For me, Haven fic feels unbalanced unless it's all three of them.

See, for me, that's exactly WHY I ship the OT3s I do. The dynamics just feel unbalanced when you take one of the characters out of the equation.
