I feel like his Batman could be really really cheesy. That might be a good thing? It would make for a fun movies anyways. Some Bat fans might freakout tho if he's not ultra serious.

DC movies or however it is called is terrible at cheesy and fun, just watch the trailers for Green Lantern

Honestly I don't think the comics from the 40's were that cheesy, or at least not as cheesy as the 60's series. If you are looking for a cheesier Batman might I suggest Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
