Other things to ship?

Honey, just because C/C is a juggernaut of a ship does not mean there's nothing else out there. Natasha, Nick, Darcy, Tony, Maria, Pepper, Loki... shall I continue? There's fic and stuff out there for all of this.

Maybe, and I know this might be a lot for you, but maybe you should have looked a little harder before deciding the fandom has nothing else going on. Also, this reeks of "PEOPLE LIKE WHAT I DON'T WAH I WANT IT TO GO AWAY!"

I ship Phil mostly with Nick and Pepper. Phil/Steve weirds me out a little bit because of the hero-worship thing, and Phil/Natasha weirds me out because I prefer a co-worker relationship with them. Oddly, I never considered Phil/Tony, I think mostly because I'm shipping him with Pepper if I'm shipping him with anyone in that household (although now I'm wondering about Phil/Rhodey, and possibly also Phil/Pepper/Tony). I saw a Phil/JARVIS once, which was weird and awesome and lovely.

I never understood either Phil/Clint OR Phil/Darcy, but that's mostly because I never actually saw Thor. It's the one movie in the canon I haven't seen yet.

So, yeah. I ship Nick/Phil and Phil/Pepper. The former on the grounds of death and sacrifice and hardnosed spy romance, the latter on the grounds of scarily competent people being utterly adorable and supportive of each other.

And I absolutely wouldn't say no to a poly Nick/Phil/Pepper or possible Nick/Phil&Phil/Pepper fic, now that I think of it. Because those are two completely different dynamics that might complement each other in interesting ways ...
