I'm one of those loners who liked Daredevil lots (way better than the Spider-Man films) and chose Affleck over Damon from the beginning (like, zero contest). I happy danced over his success with The Town and Argo.

I can't wait to see his Batman. I'll be over here in my corner if anyone wants to join!

I admittedly only made it through about 10 minutes of the Elektra sequel before doing the, "Eh, boring," switchoff, but I thought Affleck's Matt Murdock in Daredevil was terrific.

You can enjoy one of his movies and still think he's bad for the part. Like me, for example: I've enjoyed several of his movies both past and present and think that casting him as Batman is a terrible idea. Mostly because I find most of the characters he's played very similar, perhaps because of his acting style, and don't think the same treatment should be applied to Bruce Wayne or Batman. Even if Affleck brings his 'A' game for either character - yes, I think of them as separate entities - I don't think he'll manage to pull it off.

Frankly, if he wants to play another superhero, I think they should reboot Daredevil and make the damn thing about Matt Murdock and not Elektra with her accessory of Matt Murdock. (Sorry, I'm still sore about that).
