Yeah, I don't really understand why so many people ship Clint/Coulson. I have no issues to it, it's just that they never interacted. If I was going to slash Coulson, I would go for Steve.

They interacted, but not much. A lot of people don't get the pairing, though, so you're hardly alone.

It's a crack pairing that caught a lot more steam than anyone ever expected. Including those of us who ship it.

But yeah, their brief conversation over walkie-talkie in Thor hit basically the right tone. (Little bit of snark mixed with the familiarity of having worked together before.) Few prompts were made to norsekink, that were filled, and they were generally good early on, so it just basically picked up steam and then it just gradually snowballed from there.
