I have a feeling SasuSaku is going to go the way of the Orochimaru-Tsunade relationship.

also sasuke looks like he's getting redeemed, y'all. i see that has fs' panties in a bunch 4 some reason, but it looks like it's heading that way. he's always been kishi's favorite i guess.

If he's going to be redeemed by realizing that he was wrong and that he actually cares for his comrades after all, then that'd be one thing -- still wouldn't make SasuSaku palatable. If redemption involves him joining the Good Side because that's, like, what his family would have wanted, then no.

As a kid Tsunade said to kid!Jiraiya that she would rather go out with Orochimaru than him. I think she did admire Orochimaru as a friend and a scientific colleague before the village found out about his crimes.

As adults the fight with Tsunade Orochimaru and Kabuto was interesting in that it showed Orochimaru's feelings for Tsunade when he went to stab Naruto and ended up spearing Tsunade right through the chest instead. He did seem to have feelings for her. Plus, when Sasuke initially killed Orochimaru the scene with her and Jiraiya in the bar seemed like they both were a little miserable about how things ended up.

Yeah me too. Especially since one of the main messages is "you are not doomed by destiny! You can change your fate!" and then everyone falls back into old patterns again and we even have Madara/Hashirama repeating all over again!

Orochimaru also looks like he is acting on the good side now too.
