I don't know. Mothering without female characters generally involves mpreg, which I usually prefer to avoid.

What is a female character 'done right' to you? One that pines over Legolas and will be genderswapped by you in all your fanfics so you can create even more slash pairings?

As it is, I'd prefer if people try and possibly fail rather than omit female characters altogether.
