There were no jobs in my area so I went overseas. IDK about other countries, but Korea has a lot of programs where all you need is to be a native english speaker with a college degree, no TESL or whatever required. After college I worked a fast food job for a while, saving what I could, and then went to Korea on the TaLK program--they reimburse you for your flight as soon as you arrive, room and board during orientation, school pays for your rent, food is cheap here. about 1,400USD per month for 15 teaching hours a week, and after I get some experience in this program I can move to a higher-paying program.

Now you might, for whatever reason, have zero interest in this in PARTICULAR...but I woulda never considered this job and actually I love it. And the fast food place didn't give a shit that I was overqualified. Good luck, I'm sorry things suck for you rn. ㅜㅜ

Uhhh. I would actually be interested in learning more about this. I have heard of programs like that but always thought they were scams
