I just wish they'd give Bones, Checkov and Sulu more to do.

Ditto. IMO, what really worked with the first one was the crew interactions. STID had so much action, they didn't have time for half the characters, and the film felt like generic action.

I want more of McCoy. Karl Urban throws himself into it so enthusiastically I could watch him chew scenery for half the movie, ngl.
