Hmm...how do you score "I only identify as a gender because that's how I was raised"? Cis or...? 'Cause I generally don't feel strongly attached to any given gender.

Generally speaking, if you don't have any issues with consistently identifying and being identified as the gender you were assigned at birth, you're most likely cis.

How you choose to express your gender is another issue entirely, as people with more standard gender expressions tend to be more favored over those with non-standard expressions, and while that often overlaps with trans* folks (especially those pre- or mid-transition), it is an issue that affects cis folks as well. But it's still a separate issue from actually being trans*.

I don't have problems identifying with it - but I've also been called, responded to and treated as the opposite gender as well, and felt just as comfortable identifying with that...Which is why I'm not really sure where I land. ^^;;
