Re: Check Your Privilege Bingo
I'd presume it means having a family with history/power/influence. Like, for example, "legacy" children for schools. Someone is much, much, much more likely to get into an Ivy League college like Harvard or Yale if their parents or grandparents attended. Or someone is much less likely to have a criminal record for a minor offence if they have relatives in positions of influence that can convince the people involved that it was a minor enough thing to be brushed under the carpet/go away.
